We take a conservative approach to real estate investments insuring our projects will stand the test of time. Our primary focus has been on Western Canadian retail projects, and we recently completed a medical centre. Avatex was founded in 1976 and in 1991 through 2008 partnered with Springwood Developments to build several Cornerstone retail projects throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan developed by Springwood.
7 years as a senior manager with Melcor, one of Alberta's leading real estate developers. Responsible for commercial development teams in both Edmonton and Calgary.
4 years with Avison Young, specializing in retail leasing. Holds an Alberta real estate license.
Shares lead role as project manager for all development projects.
Will identify new development opportunities for Avatex in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and BC.
Over 27 years experience Commercial Real Estate industry in sales, leasing, asset management, HR, business development and overall operations.
He has held senior real estate positions with top level pension funds and more recently with Pangman Developments where they completed the development of the 560,000 SF Enbridge Centre with a lease to Enbridge Pipelines and other national tenants.
Dean will share the lead on AirPoint projects.
He has been involved in NAIOP, BOMA and various charities.

Responsible for investor relations, ensuring compliance with real estate and securities regulations, preparing financial statements, developing financial plans, and loan administration.
Oversees the financial management for the Avatex group of companies and assists with all aspects of project management.
34 years in retailing, where he developed Agricultural Input Management program for Federated Co-op. 11 years as General manager, Prairie North Cooperative, increasing annual sales to $67 M.
Handles leasing and property management for the StoneGate shopping centres, and other Avatex assets in Saskatchewan.
Identifies new real estate development opportunities for Avatex in Saskatchewan.
Owned and managed a property management company based in Edmonton, Alberta. Oversees the financial management for Avatex Devcorp Inc.
